twitter: "Just realized Jodie Foster wore similar ring as Kstew " vor 5 Stunden True?! On the one photo, on which Jodie stands behind Kristen, she has a strange thing on her finger - could be a similiar ring?! Aaaand, Jodie's jacket was from Austrian designer Helmut Lang. No KS is different, more like a snake or something. Ok, if there's anyone who can wear this jacket it's her.

Yeah Jodie, the "whole new zeitgeist" of Twilight is retro and backwards and dark age and going back to pre feminists age and preaching no sex as if the most important achievements of humans never happened, 40 years eradicated by a writer girl of my generation. It's a shame. Yep. Sometimes I'm afraid that this could indeed be the new "zeitgeist".

WHY she makes herself part of that? I would expect her staying away some several thousand miles from anything like that. Does Hollywood rule everything, but then what was her education, her films and everything she stands for what was it good for.

I'm afraid Jodie isn't that independant after all. She is part of this Hollywood machinery and sometimes even she has to play by the rules. According to my personal image of Jodie, she can't like this "zeitgeist" at all. This twilight zeitgeist is so retro and unprogressive - a well educated and lesbian woman can't support this bullshit. Maybe it's part of the decisions that Jodie's management makes. Maybe Jennifer Allen's daughter wanted to meet her Twilight stars so much that Jodie had to go....

I just had a quick flick through the Twitter tweets on Jodie's appearance on the MTV Movie Awards - I didn't know that so many people hate "Jodi Foster". What was wrong with Jodie's pronunciation of the word "prestigious"?

From day one on any forum I told you at least once a week that half of anything JF is plain hate. It's a fact and everyone who tracks her name will agree. But that fell on deaf ears and lord, this guy is always so negative you know. Wherever the Jodie admirers of the world might be they are much, much more silent than ever before.

One day, maybe even Jodie Foster will appreciate having nice fans. Well, I know she does. But maybe she will be more open and allow personal contact with her fans.
I never doubted what you were saying, Mario. I have just never done any research on the internet by myself. I'm a little bit old fashioned, you see. I come from a time when fans wrote "fanzines" on typewriters and went to copy shops with newspaper clippings to share them with other fans...

It could have been worse, just look to the right: Jodie Foster in Helmut Lang | 2012 MTV Movie AwardsTo close out the star-studded evening, Jodie Foster hit the stage last night during the 2012 MTV Movie Awards to present the final, yet biggest, award of the evening — ‘Movie of the Year’. The 49-year-old actress wore a sparkling black and silver top with black jeans that she paired with a white asymmetric blazer from the Spring 2012 collection by Helmut Lang. The jacket featured contouring black elements at the pocket and shoulder closure. I love this jacket and I’m glad she kept it closed as it could have appeared a bit bulky on screen paired with her short ‘do. The winner of ‘Best Movie’ went to “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″, so Jodie was once again reunited with her former on-screen daughter Kristen Stewart. The two starred in 2002′s “Panic Room” together. thefashion-court.com/2012/06/jodie-foster-in-helmut-lang-2012-mtv-movie-awards/

I see it. And you don't want me to bring that here. The number of fans, the admiration in general, the overall attention for anything JF, all decreased while the hateful, disrespectful comments increased --closet, Gibson, Polanski mediocre movies what else do you need. But yes, as a result even the haters will disappear one day...Sorry I don't have this rose-colored glasses.

After watching her on MTV I realized it might have been a first step back to TV. Say Hello to the Jersey Shore and Idol generation Jodie. Wouldn't be surprized if UTA breeds some crime/mystery thing for her.

It does strike me as odd that Jodie would be at the MTV Movie Awards. She's too awesome for that, in my opinion. But, hey, Johnny Depp was there! It's just a good time. And, yes, I think she was there because of Stewart and Lawrence. But, also, I think that Jodie Foster has a great agent. This person realizes that Jodie needs to stay relevant, so the best way to do this is to stay visible to the younger generations. And ELYSIUM will be out next year. That will most likely be a big movie, so it only helps promotion if target audiences see and know JF.
Just my own thinking. I don't pretend to actually know anything. (Or maybe I do. lol)

Yep well to saty relevant you have to have a certain amount of visibility the KS/JL tween fans will know who JF is because they would of run and bought or rented everything they have ever been in. But yep smart move more relevance with Elysium and the other thing is she has tweens to keep her up to date with current trends

Yeah, clever PR benefitting from the Twilight hype. Just look at this YT vid - JF quote in the description, JF and Kirsten Stewart pics in the video -> a lot of positive comments. Only an example, but one of many.

Yes, it's great Jodie Foster exists for the rest of the world by the grace of KS. Hey she could have created even more buzz when she repeated her last words about Stewarts career. What was that? I don't understand why KS wants to be an actress?
