Time travelling..".Communion" (1976) Happy family. Brooke Shields... But the face to remember is this young lady... ..who sure has spooky qualities and the seriousness of JF in The Little Girl.. and has a house down the lane Here we see her in a yellow raincoat. And here Brooke Shields, at her first Communion day, is killed by someone with a mask and a yellow raincoat... Anyway... the nice kids bring the fat, somehow pervy guy from one stair down a chocolate cake. While the detective seeks a murderer It wasn't me! If you don't believe you order a polygraph test. The fat guy meets the raincoat killer and under the mask it's the maid! and he's her next victim later at church, she kills... the girl? no, the reverend Finally together. and our heroine in the chaos leaves the scene. But hey, what's in her bag? Uh-oh. Her name is Paula Sheppard. And the interesting thing is that she was 20 years old at the time of filming. You can meet her in only one other film, the underground/new wave/punk cult b-movie Liquid Sky.

Jadran Lazic, famous for his photos from the Leonid Breshnev funeral and the "first Croatian paparazzo". I guess you've seen this picture before... That's him. And this might have been more than just a photographer/model relationship... He made these.. and all other Hvar island pictures with JF. (while pic 1+2 was in Paris) Here is some more info. (from the total-hvar website) www.jadranlazic.net/ also see bit.ly/14RpS4VSo swapping clothes with friends and best friends is nothing new but has a long tradition at Foster's. I think Brandy was always around, he was ten years older. "And then I met Jodie Foster, between us has developed a crush, but nothing more than that. Jodie was then very young."

He worked for French photo agencies, I'm sure there are more rare pictures to be found in old French magazines.

Maybe they should have started with sending really average British instead of North London media people, it might have been less surprizing to them... And that's the point. The differences of living in (Middle and Northern) European countries at the end of the day are marginal --as long as you have to work for a living. I think it's better to think of Europe (esp. Germany) as a patchwork rug of regions, where differences not necessarily relate to the distance between them and urban/rural differences alone could fill a book.
It seems BBC had a German week or something, there were two other shows about food and the car industry which I just watched. Did Cameron really say "we need a more Germanic approach" to factory workers? I remember when I grew up one of our neighbours drove a 'Rover'. Even back in the 70s this was the most exotic car within a 60 miles radius. In the show a design critic said some wise words, that maybe the British soul isn't made to mass produce things like cars. Well, they "mass produce" some of the finest pop and rock music in the world for ages. And my neighbour has a Mini in that great Union Jack design. I don't think I want Brits become more German, they should stay like they are. I would miss some incredibly fun comedy shows and movies.

Spacey does his usual job and speaking to the fourth wall is a nice idea I'd like to see more often, it reminds me of Ferris Bueller.
But I don't know what any political tv show could add in forms of intrigues, power plays or lobbyist rats that wasn't surpassed by real events before. Isn't it we did become so used to the scandal already, as the normal state, and nobody bothers anymore. What counts is not the kind of scandal but it's entertainment quality. Playing poker on your phone during talks about war. Or kicking wife and kids and fucking your Google Glasses manager instead. This sure has these qualities.

Bullock, Clooney doing amazing space acrobatics raises hopes for at least one good sci-fi flick this year. Must be impressive on a big screen.
