I've captured two videos so far, the 15 sec from Tumblr and the 1:10 from the newspaper site. Is there more footage yet?

I haven't seen ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK. Some of my friends have been telling me to watch it, though. I'll probably end up watching it just because of Jodie. On another note, it seems to me that she's gearing up for a bigger project. Will that be MONEY MONSTER or something else?

Putin, the new tsar. Russian history so many times took the wrong turn after dramatic changes it's a shame. I don't understand how this goes together with its great people. Nice opening though. But I expected Ed Snowden would light the fire hehe.

There is a mistake in Johnson's JF ancestry. In the part on her dad he states as source... which is this document... (paid service, will remove later) It's important you notice the column AGE GR, BR. So this page gives you the _age_ of groom and bride. Then in his researches on Brandy he finds out... Notice the "age 41". He adds... ..what sounds indeed confused. His source this time is a page from the Cali divorce index... Unlike the marriage index above, it doesn't state the age but the year of birth -1941. Means it wasn't Brandy who was married to this Billy Bransom. Well, unless you believe she lied about her age, made herself more than ten years younger and used bogus documents. The indexes itself are considered highly reliable, it's not impossible there was another Evelyn E. Almond in California.

Mario, where on earth do you find this stuff? You need to be out there in Egypt helping them discover more Pharaohs.

VEGA OR BUST! chevyvega.wikia.com/wiki/Chevrolet_Cosworth_Vega>> I got a call from the movie's transportation co-ordinator. He had been advertising for Vegas in some local papers and had received virtually no response. He found my name as the Regional Director of the Cosworth Vega Owners' Assc. in a local automotive events newsletter.
So he hired everyone in our region who was interested in participating - about a dozen folks - with their car(s). In fact, he had so many show up on the set that a half dozen were driven off. They all belonged to one guy, but he still got paid rent for all of them.
We spent two days filming that sequence (at the old George AFB near Victorville, CA), which ended up as just over two minutes in the final cut. Now I know why Contact cost about $120 million to produce and market.
BTW, Jodie Foster is a BABE. A real "girl next door" kind of beauty. The Suburban she was riding in was actually on a trailer towed by a one-ton truck with several camera mounts and the director. They dragged it down the road and backed it back up over a dozen times. Each time that backed down, she passed right next to me.
To bad she's into ahhh... the "alternate" lifestyle. <<
>> During takes I was "in position" and could not look at the Suburban - er Jodie - but when they slowly backed it down the road I got right up next to it, so she (slowly) passed within a few feet of me. That's how I got my "closeups" of her. We spent from just after dawn to about 1PM filming the Suburban driving down the road. In the afternoon they did the preacher scene with Jake Busey, so we just hung out. The next morning they dragged the Suburban down the road for most of the morning, then cleared everyone off the set to do the helicopter shots (safety reasons). The people in the helicopter shots were added digitally. We were released at about 4 PM.
The scene was filmed at George AFB, but in the film it is supposed to be at the VLA (very large array) in New Mexico. The VLA was added digitally to some of the shots. <<
>> I negotiated hard as hell, and when I finally met the transportation manager on the set and shook hands with him he mentioned that I was a "tough cookie" or something to that effect. We only got paid $150 a day for the cars. I guess they figured that "Vegas" aren't worth much. During our telephone negotiations I said that most of us would want to babysit our cars, so he said, okay, we'll hire you as extras, which got us minimum wage, plus time and a half for the overtime on the first day.
Yeah, movie shooting can be tedious and boring but it was like a two day club meeting for all of us, and we partied at a pizza joint after the first day while the big screen ran video of my CV running at the old Riverside track. Other than having to shoo others away who thought our cars were leaning posts, we had a great time, and they feed you really well on a movie set. In addition to the car rental fee and the five bucks and hour as extras, they put us up overnight in a local motel and gave us a voucher for a free tank of gas at a local gas station. <<[from some car forum]
