Well, you know, I feel awful that I haven't been able to participate as much as I'd like to here on the new forum. My job is pretty demanding, and I'm working on various projects. Takes a lot of time. And, when I'm not working, I'm resting and being pretty useless. However, I will do what I can to stay in touch with you Jodie fans. ;D I found this video: . I haven't been able to watch the whole thing, but I really do hope it's great!

What a beautiful interview. I really liked it. Some revealing details i have never heard her say before. She looks relaxed and a in touch with her inner self....

I finally watched the whole thing. It IS good. I like how close the camera is to her. I, too, wish that the interview was longer. I was most interested about her thoughts on today's cinema (well, this interview was from the late 90s, but much of it still applies), the place of women in cinema, and how women can truly break through as directors in Hollywood. I wish she'd talk about things like this more often. Or maybe she should write more about such topics. She's such a great mind! She should utilize her scholarly and verbal gifts a lot more.

I feel like a warm vibe coming from her in that interview. She seems so much more relaxed and happy in herself compared to any other interview i have seen. I don't see her celebrity side, but a woman in connection with all her chakras, a flowing spiritual Jodie. I think it has somehow to do with the fact she had just become a mother.

I think she has already explained to the boys the cool situation they are in. JF is a very intelligent woman and knows how to explain every concept with the right words. They have a right to ask and i think she has the duty to answer their questions. Also the boys must have noticed that most families are formed of a mum and a dad so for sure the question must have popped up very early. According to a few surveys, kids from gay and lessie parents tend to be more balanced, more open minded and more positive people, but they tend to be bullied. . So i have read, but I know a few of them and they seem to have a much clearer view of the world.

We only see what the media shows and what she tells them.
We don't know what goes on within the four walls when everybody is at home.

this is easily one of my favorite jf interviews ever!
i love that "let's get it on" is one of her favorite songs.
she seems extra genuine and real here for some reason. maybe the interviewer was really good and made her feel comfortable? or maybe because she just had Charlie?

. Let's get it on is a great song. I think motherhood is the influence. It is a great interview. She is very relaxed compared to almost anything else i have seen.
