...Jodie, however, regained her composure and decided to erase(?) this tragic episode. She said vigorously: "I do not intend to sit in my chair and wait for the monster maniac come so far!" She had to go shoot a film in Europe and has voluntarily advanced the date of departure. Before she went there she told me: "If I come back this man who tried to ruin my life is tightly enclosed within four walls!" She was determined, but in reality she did not know very well what to do. Jodie Foster has indeed left the American ground after she testified at the trial of John Hinckley. But even on our continent, Jodie Foster lives in fear to meet her crazy admirer. John Hinckley made the ambiguous statement to the psychiatrist. "I do not think there are problems between Jodie and me." Is this a threat? Jodie Foster does not want to hear about it. After shooting her film in Vienna, she will go directly to Paris. She plans to move there. Because it is unclear whether she will return to America.
[French class of 1985]
[as far as I know this was the time she lived with the unknown lady Buddy described as dominant. Or was it bossy? Years of apprenticeship maybe...]

Yeah and she brought the idea of her being a rollercoaster designer...I don't know, isn't it sometimes too much of in your face? Like the coded lesbianism in some plots. lol I have a fundamental problem with talking like that, when everytime a new film comes out and details from her private life fit too nicely, co-relate too apparently. I don't know it's too simple and I can't tell where PR talk starts and sincerity ends, just to give things like The Beaver a deeper meaning, a pseudo intellectual sprinkling. What I mean is that interviews are an balancing act when it comes to validity. It's cool listen to her, not like most other actors. But sometimes it seems we the audience would force this professional group to give us exactly what we want to hear and so they write sort of extended screenplay for us.
This is why my Jodie talks to me on the screen, through the camera lenses.

yeah and sometimes a J is not a J but an A. Like in Alicia, Greek for truth...And doesn't everything start with that? I didn't want to say she lies all the time. I mean who really cares if she would sit there in an TV interview saying where she really got her name from instead inventing parts of her own history.

I care.
That's right, it's not important. But what does it say about anything else she tells you from that point onwards.
