She was so young and beautiful back then. And seeing her kissing Randy Stone is very moving. I wonder why this kiss has never been discussed in the press. (In 1992 it wasn't a well known fact that they were both homosexual.)

I remember wild speculations about Jodie & Randy in the german press. There were rumours about Jodie being pregnant with Randy's child long before she really became a mom. Until the day the first photos of Jodie and Cydney showed up, Jodie's sexual orientation wasn't openly discussed. (That doesn't mean that we did not all KNEW that she was homo/bisexual.) What I tried to say was, that a kiss like that could be interesting news. But it wasn't. Some years later, Randy got an Academy Award for Trevor, mentioned Jodie in his acceptance speech - and that suddenly was big news!  |

By the way, you can easily tell that this kiss wasn't romantic. Watch Jodie kissing Demme in slow motion --- the most wonderful tomboy kiss! Puts a smile on my face, so sweet.  |
