I agree that the young one looks the most like her, but it's just this one particular photo in which I can see her son, Charlie. It's in the eyes, especially. But everyone sees differently.

All I know is that this is exactly the type of girl I was hanging around with when I was young, yeah maybe they were little more dangerous (But sure Jodie wasn't an angel neither) And that's veery long ago.

The one day my nostalgia is cured (and I have a feeling there is no old Jodie pic out there I haven't seen yet), that day I'm sure I disappear from here.

If only the things she does today were interesting enough for me, or at least some blockbuster would generate/revive more fans. I think you can clearly see an academic career might have been a better choice for her, she's great in writing and she wouldn't have to proof her theories work in real world lol.

Because if there's one true consistency in JF works it's the gap between what she says and what you finally get to see on the screen. Maybe one problem is, that the real person (and thus the icon, lesbian and for everyone else) at some point in the past became so big and today is more interesting than actual artistic world. Yeah, I really think a film about herself and by herself would have a huge audience.

I think it's more than the eyes. It's the same face proportions. And if she would eat something the similarities were much more obvious.

BTW It's interesting how many people wrote elsewhere they found JF totally hot in Elysium (someone even suspected calves implants) --one of rare occasions you find men participating in Jf talks.

I don't know what's going on or what happened but please believe me, I have nothing to do with it. I neither registered nor wrote on any other place (except imdb, fb or such) than here for many months. I just write this in case somebody somewhere pours shit over me.

The other thing I don't understand is why arty was pissed when I sent her the birthday present. Which was a picture from the (newly restorated) home movie. It was meant as an unique gift for a great JF follower I know for so long and who was always there. I don't have plans to spread any images from it across the internet randomly, if that's the problem. All I wanted was sharing the happiness about holding such a rare gem in my hands. With someone I thought could feel and appreciate it like myself. Because sharing _is_ the mission. I understand I shouldn't even own this piece. But so far I have not heard any real world suggestions for what to do with it. So I keep it. And send people I like and trust and find exceptional a picture if I want.

I agree. I've said this many times, but I would love to see a film that she has written and directed. I think she should go for it. I hope she'll do this at least once.
