You're right. In principle. But someone said I'm a pervert and sick and other things, and I had to wake up the admins for a deletion. And then this person found a cheering crowd elsewhere. Believe me, you too have a red line and you don't want to have people out their calling you certain names, which for a guy feel even harder. I doubt you want to advice me in such a case to simply ignore or to say "but I don't agree with you". You see sometimes even a ban is worthless and what you need is a rocket launcher.

Even if I censor myself you can say what you want here, I wouldn't delete you for any typed word (exception..well, see above) All I do is clean up the member list from time to time from people with zero posts or a single login in months. Just to keep it small and cozy. And of course I want to be sure that you are sure that this is the right place for you. I said it before, why join a forum if you do...nothing? You can find 90% of the stuff someplace else.


What leads to the problem of contribution. On any fan forum of the world there is a large disproportion between numbers of senders and receivers. For example the very impressive Meryl Streep forum, with several thousand members it's filled by a good handful of people only. None of the few heavy contributors you know from current or gone JF forums can do this alone or will do it forever. I never heard of a nico before, literally overnight there was somebody who posted nice stuff 24/7. I remember I wondered wow, they have little to do at Dr Oetker lol. I had no problem with her a bit vain and all. I wish I'd realized earlier she wants to be recognized somewhat 'bigger'. That's why I'd like to know more details about what happened over there. I have a feeling she just felt pissed because nobody really appreciated her job. Really sometimes I wish I were wrong with certain prophecies. But sadly it was a big mistake to do slave labor for people who are no real JF fans no matter what they tell you.

To be a fan _is_ an emotion and passion driven thing, it shows more with this person, less with the other and in completely different ways. I want a forum where is room for all of them.

Jarnoux once shot this series for the Paris Match magazine, I'm still trying to find the copy with the associating article. As with many photo archives and old but small agencies PM had to sell (at least) distribution rights for their vintage pics, mostly to compensate losses from decreasing print sales. Now in this case the rights went to Getty, the deal was made just last year, and if that happens they are usually locked away very well from free sources. And it's rather unlikely that much, if any, of the above pictures will ever again used in print or online media. It's just gone. It's the kind of stuff you get to see in posthumous biography books by some idiot who doesn't know anything about JF.

The account was directly banned, I didn't even login a single time. I guess Ms "call me coward" Munze as co-admin leaked in her panties in view of a Mario who could post the EVIL donations list again. So let's guess who has the say on that board.

The whole 'opening' thing was an act of desperation. When the sole contributor to your board leaves, plus you realize reputation of the board in general falls in your peer group (due to what seems random banning, but actually I'd like to hear that from nico) then make announcements like this, in the hope some new fans who post stuff join. As I said I don't know how they (because it's more than one person) make a few cents from this board things, but if you want to, you need to keep it alive. Don't get me wrong, there is basically nothing wrong with that, the more JF places the better. The problem was the combination of the personalities of the board owners (who have a rather different background) and the co-admins who do the actual work, where of the later one is vain, the other very obviously overchallenged.

At this time I have only one question. Where is nico now? If you see her, please let her know I want to talk to her.

But basically nothing changed then is people still get banned or banned people are no readmitted.
It is a problem contributions to a site like that if you can't get to your posted stuff anymore later because you can get banned when somebody just feels like it.

For me to the more the marrier. I still like to see some little found treasures and want jf to be in the picture somehow.
